The second leg of “Beggar’s Turn” is a demanding par 4. This hole is guarded by ditches along both sides with a small pond on each side, roughly 50 yards from the green. Long hitters may choose to carry the ponds or thread the needle with a driver, however most will choose to lay up with a long iron or fairway wood. The second decision will leave a mid to long iron second shot to an extremely undulated green with a false front. The back left and right sides slope severely off the green while the front left side is guarded by a kidney shaped sand trap.
